QuickTrack Extension
In this section you will learn how to properly use the QuickTrack Extensio the UI Design of iDealOps
What is it for, and why is it important?
This is an extension designed to help you track your prospecting efforts, because if nothing is measured, it can’t be improved. QuickTrack solves the problem of keeping track of everything, especially when things move so quickly that it becomes inconvenient to register each step. With QuickTrack, that’s no longer an issue. There’s also a phone app, and when you're working with the tab open, the extension stays with you and doesn’t close, allowing you to move seamlessly through your workflow.
Sections
Profiles
You can create profiles in the QuickTrack extension based on your needs or the type of prospecting you’re doing. It depends on whether you want to track cold calling, follow-ups, or a different kind of prospecting. It’s easy to separate and save the information while still being able to track other activities you're working on.
There are already predefined profiles, and you can change, delete, or customize them as needed.
The essential feature of this is the ability to perform different types of prospecting within the same section.
Add Profiles
This feature allows you to add new profiles if you’d like. You can name them however you want, and once you choose a name, it’s saved and ready to use.
Here’s how you add a profile:
Rename a Profile
If you want to rename a profile or use it for another purpose, you can change its name by clicking this icon and typing the new profile name.
Delete Profile
To delete a profile, click on it and select "Delete."
Zoom
If you want to zoom in or out of the extension, you can use this feature to choose a zoom level between 50% and 100%, and you’re all set.
Dark Mode and Light Mode
If you’re someone who prefers either a light or dark theme, you can choose your favorite way to work by clicking on the sun or moon icon.
English or Spanish
If you prefer Spanish, you can switch languages by clicking the flag that indicates the current language of the extension.
Calculator
This is a reverse engineering calculator. You input specific data to determine the values you need to reach a specific output, helping you understand the realistic numbers you need to achieve your goals.
The values in red are the ones where you can input data, and it calculates how much can be made based on standard values and your inputs.
On the left, you can calculate the Setters' OTE by entering data related to setters, and on the right side, you can do the same for closers. This reverse-engineered calculator helps you set projections and make forecasts based on data, making your expectations more realistic rather than relying on guesses.
If you have any questions, you can refer to the definitions in the Glossary of Variables.
Glossary of VariablesAuto Close Activated
Sometimes, specific tabs like Zoom, Slack, or WhatsApp open automatically and redirect you, but then they serve no ongoing purpose. These tabs can pile up, clutter your browser, and waste time every time you have to close them manually—something you might not notice right away, but that adds up in the long run.
This feature gives you the option to automatically close those tabs the moment they’ve fulfilled their purpose, helping you save time and keep your workflow clean.
The most critical auto-close tabs this feature targets are:
Zoom redirect tabs – When you join or leave a Zoom meeting, extra tabs may open to confirm the action or redirect you. These tabs serve no ongoing function and can be closed automatically.
Slack action tabs – When you click on a Slack link, such as replying to a message or opening a thread, a browser tab may open to launch the app. Once the app is triggered, the tab is no longer needed and can be closed.
WhatsApp Web redirect tabs – These often appear when you open a direct link to a chat with someone. The tab’s only function is to initiate the conversation in the app, making it safe to close immediately after.
For example, when this icon is shown, the feature is deactivated:
And when this emoji is shown, it means the feature is activated, and those types of tabs will be automatically closed:
Tracking
This is the section where you track all the necessary information. All definitions are available in the glossary, but they’re mostly self-explanatory.
Glossary of VariablesYou can add a number with the "+" or subtract it with the "−" if you made any mistakes while tracking. This helps you easily keep track of every step in the prospecting process.
You can also reset the individual value if needed by using the button on the right, which resets the value to 0.
You can customize the values if needed, but it’s recommended to track them using the “+”. Click on the number you want to adjust and enter the new value.
Real Time Ratios
This section displays real-time ratios that you can use to monitor your performance during a working session. They’re provided for informational purposes, but are very useful and give you clarity on the process.
Here’s how they appear in the extension:
If in doubt about any of the terms, please consult the Glossary of Variables.
Glossary of VariablesTimer
You use the timer at the start of each work session to track the number of hours you’re working, which helps us calculate ratios and more.
You can also pause it if you need to take a break or something comes up, and it allows you to resume work afterwards.
The timer can be reset if you’ve finished and want to start again from zero.
Bottom Buttons Functions
Erase all
This erases all information across all profiles and resets everything to its default state.
Reset
This resets the information of a specific profile, leaving all other data unchanged.

It copies the information and provides the exact row to paste directly into the KPI input table for prospecting, saving you the hassle of manually filling in each cell.
How to use the Extension
Takes you directly to a live extension tutorial showing you how to do it.
Add Your KPI Sheet Link
It lets you add the link to your KPI and transforms the button into a direct link, making it easier to access and fill out the KPI.
Click the button to open the option to paste the URL of your KPI. Once you've pasted the correct link, click Save.
Once you've saved it, the button changes. Now, just right-click the button to be redirected to your KPI; it's that easy.
