Understanding Prospecting
The Prospecting Input Table serves as the central log for all key performance indicators (KPIs) generated during the prospecting process. Here we record each outreach action—whether by setters, cold callers, or any other prospecting channel—to measure what works, what doesn’t, and calculate clear ratios.
Tracking these metrics in one place provides us with end-to-end visibility into our funnel, enabling us to refine scripts, select the most effective channels, and allocate time where it yields the highest return.
Below is a preview of how this page looks in:

If in doubt, remember that every term has a detailed definition and can be found in the Glossary of Variables.
Glossary of VariablesAlso, remember that we have an extension (QuickTrack) that makes completing this table much easier—it takes just 3 minutes to learn, and you can do it here. It will help make your prospecting efforts more productive.
QuickTrack ExtensionHow it works
The columns highlighted (the ones in blue tone) in the picture are the ones meant to be modified by the user and must be correctly completed to ensure accurate and appropriate reporting of each projection. You don’t need to—and won’t be able to—modify the other columns, as they are there to help you track the status of each projection you’ve set as the projector.
The modifiable columns include: Name ('Clients'), Date 📅, Type, Source, Medium, Offer, Hours 🕒, Assigned Leads, Valid Leads, Attempts, Responses, Convos, Offers, Booked, Deposits, Closes, Net Revenue.

Accurate and consistent data entry in every column of the Prospecting Input Table is crucial because it enables us to evaluate each prospector’s performance against baseline benchmarks, pinpoint exactly where our outreach flow excels or stalls, and make data-driven decisions based on real numbers rather than estimates. When a field is left blank or filled incorrectly, clarity is lost, and the team misses the insight needed for timely and practical improvements.
The system has been designed to facilitate easy and accurate completion of all tasks. If any required field is left blank or if the entered information doesn’t make sense, the system will automatically detect the issue and flag it in the "NOT_filled" column. When the entry is complete and correct, this column will show “Good”. If something is missing or inconsistent, an “Error” message will be displayed, indicating that an item needs to be reviewed or corrected.

To help you fully understand how it works, let’s look at two examples—one correctly filled and one with errors.
Here is a visual example of how a row should be filled out correctly to ensure all data is processed without issues:
If any key data is missing or wrong, the system will turn the missing cells red like this:
The most common mistake in the Prospecting tab is missing data—any blank or incomplete fields will be flagged as an error.
As a bonus, let’s fill out a call completely from scratch. We’ll do it manually, but remember: QuickTrack can complete this process in under 10 seconds. Yes, it’s that effective! :)
